Supporting the Outer Hebrides Heritage Sector

Comann Dualchas Innse Gall (CDIG) has received a £3,750 development grant from our Community Investment Fund. The funding will support an Economic Impact Assessment examining the contribution of the heritage sector to the economy of the Outer Hebrides.

CDIG is the umbrella organisation for the islands’ community heritage sector. It works to strengthen collaboration between heritage groups, encourage the sharing of knowledge and raise the sector’s collective voice across the Outer Hebrides.

The assessment will help demonstrate the economic value of the sector and provide valuable evidence to support its continued development and long-term sustainability.

To find out more about the Community Investment Fund, including eligibility and how to apply, please visit the Funding section of our website: www.galsontrust.com/funding.

We encourage groups to speak with a member of the CIF team before applying. For an informal chat, contact us via email at cif@uogltd.com or by phone on 01851 850411.
