Visit North Lewis was established by Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn to provide support for local tourism providers within the Galson Estate and to attract more visitors to the area.
Visit North Lewis provides local tourism providers with the opportunity to promote their business, both on the website and on social media. It also provides visitors to the area with insights into must-see landmarks and areas of significant interest, along with the places to eat, stay and shop!

The Visit North Lewis Heritage Trail is a stunning walk through some of the most scenic spots across North Lewis and can be done in various stages.

Have a go at the Tolsta - Ness route, a 12-mile moorland walk known for its beautiful coastline and rich heritage, featuring landmarks such as Garry Bridge, An Tràigh Mhòr, Taigh an Fiosaich and many more.

Or why not start in Skigersta and walk to Eoropie, a shorter and less challenging route, passing heritage spots such as Butt of Lewis Lighthouse, Port Stoth, Dùn Èistean among many other well known places.
