Community Investment Fund - Musical archive project receives support

Taigh Dhonnchaidh was awarded a Community Investment Grant of £1927.72 earlier this year for its proposed Archive Digitalisation project.

The project will involve the scanning and archiving of documents relating to Duncan ‘Major’ Morrison’s life and work and the digitalisation and archiving of an extensive collection of songs written by people from Ness. The physical copies will then form a tangible record which will be available for viewing at a proposed exhibition by Taigh Dhonnchaidh.
