Ness F.C has been awarded a £2000 Community Investment Fund grant towards the purchase of much-needed new goals, much to the relief of players and football fans!
The goals and nets at the home ground of Ness F.C at the Fivepenny pitch were more than 20 years old and beginning to show their age. The nets were badly degraded whilst the goal posts and framework were posing a risk to players’ welfare; the poor condition of the goals contributed to two Ness F.C 2024 season matches being stopped mid-game for emergency repair works.
