Red Deer Stags - Open Season

Deer Shooting Season differs for different species and there are different dates for stags and hinds.

We are now in the open season in Scotland (1st July – 20th October) for Red Deer Stags. As such, our leaseholders will be active in supporting the ongoing work in relation to deer management on the Estate. We have made use of an out of season licence during the closed season, but are now better placed to manage the population.
