Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn is delighted to share details of a further recruitment drive from AMLHUB Limited, delivered through our partnership to create high quality remote career opportunities for people living in Lewis.
AML Hub plans to create more than 20 Anti Money Laundering compliance roles across the Western Highlands and Islands by May 2027, with recruitment taking place in cohorts throughout 2026 and 2027. The next group of Trainee AML Compliance Coaches is due to begin in June 2026.
These positions are fully home based, allowing successful applicants to build a professional career while continuing to live in the estate area and wider Lewis community. The roles support legal firms in cities such as Edinburgh and Glasgow, offering access to a career path that would traditionally require relocation.
About the Role
The Trainee AML Compliance Coach position offers:
Full time, home based employment
Starting salary of £26,000
Increase to £28,000 following completion of initial training
Progression to £32,000 at the start of year two once fully qualified
Structured training for those new to the sector
Clear development pathways within a growing specialist field
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a “Getting to Know You” day at UOG’s offices in South Galson ahead of the June start date.
Full information, including the recruitment pack and details on how to apply, is available via our website blog.
