Community Investment for Taigh Dhonnchaidh
Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn Community Investment Fund recently awarded a grant of £5000 to Taigh Dhonnchaidh. Currently, Taigh Dhonnchaidh is the sole provider of musical tuition within a 30-mile radius, offering traditional instrument classes to children and hosting community events like cèilidhs, concerts, and film nights. However, the small premises limit its potential. This grant will contribute towards the funds required for an extension, creating a new performance space, additional storage, and improved facilities. This expansion aims to meet growing demand and support a sustainable business. This will transform Taigh Dhonnchaidh into a thriving cultural hub, preserving and celebrating our rich heritage for generations to come.
