CIF development Grant
The Community Investment Fund (CIF) is a funding programme managed by Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn, designed to support local organisations in delivering services that benefit the Galson Estate community. Established to reinvest income generated from renewable energy projects, the CIF provides not only financial support but also offers tailored advice, training, guidance, and ongoing aftercare to help projects succeed and grow.
The fund is aimed at initiatives that align with the broader objectives of Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn. These objectives are to:
-
Develop skills and learning opportunities
-
Improve health and wellbeing
-
Relieve poverty and financial hardship
-
Protect and conserve the natural environment
-
Safeguard and celebrate local heritage and culture
-
Support the development of key industry sectors
-
Encourage active and inclusive community participation
